Development and support of Prepaid VoIP Reseller program, traffic reporting, vendor invoice reconciliation, and fraud management.
Programming in PHP (w/Object-Oriented & MVC architecture), MySQL, and JavaScript/AJAX.

Developed dynamic, interactive, data-driven websites.

Led 70-person department, responsible for all Information Technology in Fairfield, IA offices. 
This was my final position, the result of three promotions.

* Software development teams using MS' .NET framework, OO languages (Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro, Java), MS' SQL Server

Supervised the schedules, budgets, and deliverables of multiple and simultaneous software development teams (12 people total). Progress database & software development

 

9/1990-6/1996     Senior Project Manager, Fannie Mae (Washington, DC)

Led 18-person group in multi-million-dollar software development projects. 
This was my final position, the result of two promotions.
* Financial software development, primarily related to REMIC derivatives
* Sr. Manager in Fannie Mae's "Object Factory", which established the processes, UML analysis and design techniques, architecture, Objective-C libraries, and development methods for the company's strategic initiative for corporate-wide adoption of Object-Oriented software and system development.
* NeXT's Objective-C; OO data model over Sybase Relational database; UML modeling; C/C++; Unix

 

9/1983-8/1990     Senior Research Programmer, Carnegie Mellon University

Co-Designed and implemented a programming environment for parallel-processing computers, supporting computer science researchers.  Primarily C/Mach (UNIX) environments.
